It may seem to go unnoticed but the LS Oil Immersed transformer takes the environment of consumer energy into serious consideration. As an insulation media that use insulation oil, the LS Immersed Transformer has been newly desinged to optimize the working environment in order to reduce noise with the use of non-aging, cold rolled, high permeability, grain oriented silicon steel.
Winding types and methods that offer the least loss were selected using magnetic field analysis, and also used in the LS Industrial System’s Power Transformer to ensure high levels of efficiency. Moreover, by selecting the optimal insulating structure through the electric field analysis of insulation between turns, sections, windings and phases, the Power Transformer's electrical stability is achieved. LSfluent analysis technology has enabled the realization of an optimal cooling system, and 3D structure strength analysis has enabled a structural design that can withstand internal mechanical power short-circuits caused by system faults, seismic conditions according to external impacts, and the impact of transportation.LS Industrial Systems’ Power Transformer factory is equipped with the latest core processor machines, the latest winding machines, high-capacity vacuum heat drying equipment, state-of-the-art cleaning facilities, and has the best test room.
Coils There are different structures and methods of coil widning according to capacity, volume and its usage. LS has applied the optimal coil widning obtained through years of research and development. The size of conductor has been designed to tolerate allowable current, temperature rise and the electromagnetic force that occurs in case of external short-circuit. The concentric arrangement that inserts primary and secondary coils based on core has been taken as the standard method of arrangement with the insulation classification and mechanical force taken into account. Cores The iron core is made of sophisticated high permeable magnetic silicon steel laminated with no secular variation and is designed to minimize the vibration and noise during operation by minimizing no-load current and loss through precisioncutting processes. The junction between Leg and Yoke Core has been manipulated through precision processing of 45℃ to take advantage of directivity of rolling and has also gone through annealing at the high temperature of 800℃ to eliminate magnetic properties. Tank Being made of cold rolled steel, the tank is able to endure internal pressure, and it was also designed and manufactured with a harnessed mechanical force to prevent any deformation caused by external shocks while transportation or othes. Conservator In the case of conservator mounting transformer, the conservator and external cover of a transformer are connected through an appropriate pipe with an oil gauge attached on it. In addition, the conveyor and the case are detachable if needed as they are assembled by bolts.
